Friends of International Students

Are you interested in serving the international students that are moving to Lubbock Texas to attend college?  This group exists to serve the international students by simple acts of kindness.  

 

We have a great new opportunity for you to participate in the airport pick-up program as well as the ability to be a cultural exchange host family.  We also have opportunities to participate in FriendSpeak.  The idea is to pair believers with internationals in Lubbock (college students or adults) to serve them with a one-on-one weekly conversational English meeting using a workbook containing excerpts from the gospel of Luke. The current need is more English speakers who are native-English speaking believers, can meet an hour week, and willing to make a new international friend.
